Welcome to my Sims universe!

I receive a lot of messages about downloading builds, installation, troubleshooting, and gameplay questions, so I created this guide to help answer the most common ones all in one place.

Before sending me a message, please take a look through this guide—there's a good chance your question is answered below! If you're still having trouble afterward, don't worry! Feel free to reach out, and I'll do my best to help. 🖤

~ How to Download My Builds ~

1. Download the Files

Click the download link provided in the Patreon post.

This will take you to the Google Drive folder for that build.

2. Extract the ZIP File

After downloading, right-click the ZIP folder and select Extract All...

⚠️ Please do not place the ZIP file directly into your Sims folder.

3. Install the Tray Files

Move all extracted Tray files into:

Documents → Electronic Arts → The Sims 4 → Tray

4. Install Custom Content (If Included)

If the build includes CC, move those files into:

Documents → Electronic Arts → The Sims 4 → Mods

5. Enable Mods

Open The Sims 4 and make sure:

✔ Enable Custom Content & Mods

✔ Script Mods Allowed

Restart your game if needed.

6. Place the Build

Before placing the lot, open the cheat console and type:

bb.moveobjects on

Then place the build from the Gallery or your Library.

✦ The build isn't showing up.

✔ Make sure the Tray files are installed correctly.

✔ Enable Include Custom Content in the Gallery—even if the build is No CC.

✔ Toggle Newest and Lots

✔ Restart your game.

✦ Why does my build look different?

A few things can cause this:

• Missing expansion packs

• Missing CC (if applicable)

• Build placed without bb.moveobjects on

• Missing mods required for the build

✦ Do I need every expansion pack?

I own all expansion packs, so I don't always keep track of which ones are used in every build.

I do my best to make shell builds as base game-friendly as possible, but some decorated builds may use objects from various packs.

✦ Do your builds use CC?

Unless otherwise stated, my builds are Mainly Custom Content.

Custom Content and Mods will always be included in downloads

✦ Why do your screenshots look different than my game?

I use GShade, Better In-Game Lighting, and additional lighting mods for screenshots and videos.

These only affect how my game looks visually and are not required to use my builds.

✦ Do I need mods?

Some builds require specific gameplay mods for full functionality.

If a build requires mods ,they will always be listed in the post.

✦ Can I use your builds in videos or streams?

Absolutely! 🤍

Yes!

Please feel free to decorate, renovate, and customize them however you'd like for your own gameplay.

✦ Can I reupload your builds?

Please don't.

You're welcome to edit them for personal use, but please don't reupload or claim them as your own.
