Birch Trees
These elegant trees are part of the extended version of Dynamic Life, bringing more character and vibrancy to plains biomes. Birch forests grow fast, spread quickly, and create striking, patterned landscapes in your Minecraft world.
🌳 How they work:
Plant them by dropping an Amethyst Shard on a birch sapling.
Their seeds can germinate in plains biomes under Y level 90.
Birch trees are a pioneer species and resilient against other species, making them strong colonizers of open land.
Their seeds spread efficiently by wind, much further than the slower but tougher conifer forests.
But beware: their speed comes with a weakness. Birch forests are highly flammable, and forest fires can sweep through them with devastating force.
A unique trait: birch trees compete with neighbors for light, accelerating growth to match surrounding trees. The result? Mosaic patches of trees at similar heights, creating a visually striking, layered canopy.
With their rapid rise and vulnerability to fire, birch trees make your world feel alive, unpredictable and perhaps a tad bit chaotic.
