Also, hard agree Pokémon is for adults. We had a Pokémon sponsored event at work and it was aimed at children (they got to collect stickers of five different Pokémon) but children young enough to like stickers didn’t know about Pokémon, and kids that were old enough to like Pokémon didn’t care about stickers. We mostly had adults coming in and collecting the stickers or encouraging their kids to collect the stickers.

If there is any way for them to see this, I never got my membership card 😭 I was forced to move right around when they were shipped out and I never realized they were shipped and I didn’t get one!! Please help them see that so maybe I can get mine. I’m so devistated

As someone working in a school now, we take the queer kids very seriously! We allow social transition, there are mechanisms to have names informally changed, and the queer kids talking about their same sex partners are treated the same as the straight ones. Assemblies directly mention and address homophobia and transphobia alike, and our PSHE lessons cover what to do if you're questioning your identity. It heartens me to be part of the staff body making school that much more tolerable for queer children, not least because it is so different to my own experience in even just the 2010s.

I’m gen z and in a very liberal area which I think has something to do with it but thankfully at both my school and college you didn’t get bullied for being gay or trans (that was very uncool to do and literally no one cared) but you *could* get bullied for your theatre performance being bad and I find that beautiful (not rly, but I’ll take it)

Okay I'm gonna be real here pham as a teacher I can report school is still dire at times. I teach middle school and the amount of homophobia still shocks me. Kids will fully use gay as an insult if their friend is annoying. Some kids will claim freedom of religion to misgender trans students. Some teachers will claim it's "not that bad". But at least my school has two advantages on that front. 1) Supportive headmaster and admin. 2) Me. Because I will fully drag a kid in front of the headmaster if they misgender someone or call someone gay. I am making my school less homophobic by sheer force of will. as someone who went to an all-girls school, i can confirm it was all-out psychological warfare. ironically though, lesbians were par for the course and an accepted and established part of the school, and the few people that were trans were generally left alone. the bullying was too high-concept for regular insults.

Technically speaking, you can take the medium jacket with you and take it on and off on days where the weather fluctuates between hot and cold (where a thin jacket would be needed). You can take an umbrella; you don't need a raincoat. You don't need color options, especially if you are traveling, as space is important. Say, for example, you want to buy another coat while traveling. Now you have the space to accommodate that. Think of packing like this: You take the very least amount of clothes you need, with maybe 1 or 2 extra tops, trousers, undergarments, and socks, for in case. Those can be packed in a carry-on or separate from the other clothes in case you lose clothes, forget clothes on accident, etc. But you really want to bring the very bare minimum of what you want, and then you can buy souvenirs or bring back other things you may want to buy. This also stops the bag from being too heavy. Coats take up the MOST room in a suitcase because, rolled or folded, it is a lot of material. But knowing that coats are something Phil likes to collect is something to keep in mind. Where I would say only 2-3 coats is the max for travel (I travel about every 3-6 months overseas and across different countries), it is very different for a collector. For example, I collect vintage dresses. I often bring more than I need. 1-2 dresses for any season is okay, yet I take like 4-6. It's different for a collector.
