Nerd Fox
A little doodle of Modern AU Laura. When I first came up with the character of Laura a long time ago I never imagined her as a nerdy gamer (for obvious reasons, considering Twokinds is a fantasy) but in the modern setting I have to admit it fits her surprisingly well.

Cute, quick someone pat her on the head for me!
Definitely a color vote from me for this one
A Same. B bro! That user name is sick
God she is so cute.
I love nerd foxes
is it just me or does anyone else think this should have been titled Foxy Nerd instead?
Both titles are good. But I do prefer nerdy fox
Epic!
That's really cute
Nerds rule!
She looks so comfy 😮
i'd love to hug gamer laura alot and play with games her
Grammar
Don't let her kind facade fool you. She spouts insults and slurs in COD and League like it's a second language.
Probably my second favorite version of her, behind only the "Two-Kinds films" AU where she and Trace are a couple. Age of the Geek, baby!
Why not both? The living situation can simply be with different periods of her life.
She looks like she would be in smash brother esports
I am loving the fun energy I get from the pic.
I really like the pose and energy in the art piece. I also never imagined her as a gamer in the comic but I've been loving all of the sketches of her as a gamer and a streamer, haha. It's very fun.
It's interesting to consider the traits and mentalities that make for nerds, geeks and other modern personality concepts like that and then think back on if those only came into being in the modern age? Or did they always exist and just looked and moved differently in the distant past? In any case cool, adorable Laura is both cool and adorable 😁
In earlier times, such people were bookworms, chess geeks, etc., and probably wrote their own stories and fanfictions on paper to share with their friends.
It's good to be a nerd. ;)
she claims to be a PC player only, but she secretly loves her Switch, Xbox, PS5, and her restored Atari (She's the one who restored it)
Is the whole dumb "PC Master Race" thing even still a thing nowadays? I thought people finally left that behind
Nerds are cute! Especially her.
She's the angriest gamer you've ever heard! She's the angry Nintendo nerd fox! She's the angry Atari Sega nerd fox! She's the angry video game nerd fox!
Laura is a lot more intelligent than her emotions allow her to be.
she certainly is and i am sure both of us would love to play games with her and i'd happily bring the drink as long you bring the snacks
Yeah, she firs quite well in a modern setting. Most of them do, honestly.
Hell yeah it does
Oh my goooooosh she’s too cute ^^
Always loved Laura in the comic. Glad she developed so much in these modern sketches. Nerd Fox is simply a perfect fit for her
Yeeeessss, she so cute like this! c:
