now this is a great thing to see raine being happy and rose being there for sweet little raine i just hope raine gets the love she needs and deserves becouse i know she does need proper love and care and i'd be more than happy to hug her and console her
So I guess the Modern AU has enough shapeshifters knocking around to make a viable market for shape-changing shoes? I was under the impression that basically just Raine (and her father) can do that in canon.
If this is a modern AU then there is absolutely a higher population making shifters more probable.

That’s impressive. Very useful for shapeshifters. I always feel sorry that digitigrade characters can’t wear normal shoes easily. Makes it very difficult when they need shoes for safety purposes.

Do they use three digits on the right side? 1.550G is what I make it out to be. Many countries use commas for separators in their money amounts.
This is actually a really neat concept! I'd love to see more of this kind of thing - adaptations for shapeshifters like Raine, or just the different kind of things animal folk would need to adapt. Cool when a sketch makes you think 👀

Oh my GOOOOSH Tom this is so cute and even better than I imagined! It's just such a cool idea for me ever since the driving lesson sketch, just to imagine Kathrin working on these sorts of things in her boutique and seeing Raine so happy with the shoes is just adorable and sweeet and ASAJDSASKDJDSA (Sorry it's just really sweet). Plus I love seeing the shoes shifting in motion. It's so cool the way they stretch. :D Raine is not going to have any more burst shoes now, that's for sure! (And the little pawpads on the soles are just heccin' cute! Thanks for drawing this Tom, it looks really, really lovely.

This begs the question of pants. Does she have a tail hole like Flora or does her tail just flop over and edge of her pants
Maybe it's like a valve-flap thing, where it only opens when the tail enfloofening happens.
I'm not surprised a pair of shoes like that would cost 1,550G - the amount of time and effort to put the enchantment on would bump up the costs significantly!
