they are such a cute pair.
Snuggle boiiiiiis! Such cute dorks, hehe.
Welcome back.
This is just proof that stories always have the power to take us elsewhere. This might be a modern AU, where Keith is simply reading to Natani (I imagine Nat being literate, but has an issue with the "reading" part) but even if this was in canon, it's still proof that the imagination is quite powerful and will use the words spoken by another as a way to carry us off. I pointed it out with the original sketch, if I recall correctly, that Charles Dickens would do public readings of his work, especially around Christmas, before the work was published. These readings often sold out. These days, our books allow us to take on the role of Dickens, or any other master of literature, and read their words aloud to transport others to another world. If you don't believe me on this, I challenge you to grab an unabridged audiobook of Homer's "The Iliadd." I felt like I was witnessing the Battle of Troy as Homer saw it millennia ago. I also have a good imagination not completely rotted away from video games and movies, so I may or may not be in the minority with this.
Each scene and the transition between them are wonderful - and they add up to a really amazing piece.
This is so beautiful!!! Amazing work Tom!
Wow! Tom this is a gorgeous piece. Not just visually but just the idea of Keith making Natani feel so safe and happy and him feeling that as well with her company. It makes me smile just looking at it. Give me a warm feeling:)
This one is adorable, and Natani looks so peaceful as she listens to Keith
she certainly does maybe the adventure books are good so i may buy one or 2 to read when i have downtime
this is so wholesome, I love it <3 they went from being so angsty to tender and caring with each other xD
Huh. I didn't guess this one for the colour vote, but probably should have. It came out beautifully!
Keith? Where is your left hand resting?
Where you can put your hand if you get a girlfriend who's cool with that.
Love this. Not only my favourite pair, but a great and original idea.
Every hunk of a wolf wants a little basitin boyfriend reading him bedtime stories. Natani hit the jackpot
natani certainly did hit the jackpot maybe it is godlike jackpot? maybe the only way i believe i could beat keith is i would be able to have a small squear of visual with what the book describes but i doubt i can beat keith
I. Friggin. Love. This! ♥♥♥ There is already not much that beats reading a good book while it's raining outside. But sharing this with someone you love? All of my Yes!
Kinda hope its one of his childhood favorites (of island adventures, out past the horizon!!) he wanted to share
i do wonder what kind of book keith is reading for natani as i think natani enjoy the book reads maybe i could a read a book for natani to see if natani like me reading aloud than keith
I need this framed on my wall, simply amazing.
Actually, yeah. This one is good enough I'd probably buy it if it was sold as a poster/wall scroll.
