Judging by what looks like a sprig of wheat, this is a heffweisen, as opposed to a lager or ale. It was also clearly filtered, as the cat can clearly be seen through the glass and the beer, itself. Typical beer steins are ceramic or pewter and not typically glass, though glass is used from time to time.
My first thought was that it was some kind of catnip type plant… but looking at it now, I’m sure you’re right.
To Cat clan,a mug of ale might as well be a few barrels worth...must be quite cheap for them to get drunk.
Just like the gnomes in Terry Pratchett’s Discworld novels… who go to the pub wearing swimming costumes (since there aren’t many pubs that are willing to sell a thimble full of beer…)
