I actually help out at a place like this when I was in scouts. It wasn’t a soup kitchen, but they gave out food and stuff to the those that were able to show up.
This is very heartwarming! It's nice to see a more in character moment for Laura.
... I'm just hoping we don't have a Edith Keeler situation. It IS Laura, after all 😔
i may regret asking but what is edith keeler situation?
i'd be happy to cook in the kitchen to help those in need
Nice to see that outside of being a streamer and taking out her wildest fantasies on Keith, Laura's a kind soul.
She always was
...and the person next in line is 3 Cat Clan cats in a trenchcoat. :p
Laura will serve them three cat-sized bowls.
As another quite excellent webcomic quoted for it's title strip "Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth." Seeing Laura's lack of imposition and kind, gentle heart is wonderful :) Plus it's always fun to watch the Modern TK cast in action!
Is that keidran script up on the sign?
Either that, or the script basitin use. I always imagined keidran would use the script of whatever land they're in.
I love the way that everything in the picture is somewhat gloomy except the soup, which give it a very warm, happy appearance
That's got to be Clovis fallen on hard times, there.
