If we fail to get this one colored we have officially failed as a species! TwT
I love these two! Whether them getting together was always planned or in reaction to the fans, they're perfect for each other.
There shall be COLOR of this one!
Holy hell. You just made Maren one of the hottes chicks I've ever seen, and all you did is put a suit on her LOL.
Woof indeed
sythes makes me a little jealous with this but atleast he's a happy boy with maren giving him pets
Is it just me, or are the quality of these sketches getting considerably better? Like, I'm not sure how much the inevitable color version can really improve on this.
I've had an inkling for a while that the upped sketch quality was a contributer to the current slow update schedule of the main comic.
The question is.. what is Mrs. Nibbly?
Quite perturbed.
Wicked, Tom! Maren's outfit is lovely! I'm sure Kat was more than happy to help with the design. The bat stockings are an excellent touch! As is the sheer front panel. Dat midriff, yo. It seems Sythe appreciates the attention to detail too. XD Congrats, Starcat!
Sythe: "So you're going as a witch, and I'm going as...?" Maren: "My familiar." Sythe: "Familiar? I can be familiar." Maren: "Mmhmm. Just not TOO familiar." Sythe: "Isn't it a familiar's job to encourage his witch to be... wicked?" Maren: *Rolls eyes to cover blush.* "Tch. You... dog!" Sythe: *Grins.* "Woof."
I hope I’m invited to the Halloween party this year. Should be a hoot.
Maren is stunning in that outfit!
You know that feeling when you think you have an original joke, but it turns out everyone already knows the punchline? That's me right now
Wow maren looks amazing! So if Sythe is Maren’s familiar what does that make ms nibbly
Pissed.
This witch understood the value of a familiar with hands(among other things)
I get the impression that Sythe likes being a familiar; you think he gets ‘familiar’ with Maren in more than one way?
That is in fact part of the late medieval/early modern period lore for witchcraft. Familiars were supposed to be demons disguised as animals, which the witch would suckle and 'ahem' with as part of how they got their supernatural powers. (Depending on the documents collecting said claims, whether said demons changed out of animal form during said stuff varies)
I love her bat leggings. 🦇 "It's freakin' BATS! I love Halloween."
Woof indeed.
Maren is an incredibly sweet and kind girl, Sythe is so lucky
Maren is lucky as well to have a guy like Sythe.
If they aren't already they are going to be very familiar with each other.
“My eyes are up—never mind.”
Sythe has his eye literally right on the prize.
