As someone that has spent up to an including 20 years practicing throwing knives...that is one hell of a miss Nat. ^^ LOL

And it’s why I like the assassin joke of “No one would know if I was there if I killed everyone.”
I can not hit what I aim for to save my life. Even in video game I suck. It’s why I always fight stuff up close and personal.
i could give this a whirl to see if i have a better aim than natani with my left arm which would be my throwing knife/axe arm i would maybe also hold on to my sword handle while my sword is sheathed to show how well i can throw with my off hand
Nat just has instinctive aim. Precision could do with a little more work, though... Funny, Tom! Interesting to get a look as Mr. Glasses-wearing Guild Goon again. Don't think we've seen him since the raid on Maren's tavern. Congrats, Nate!
Human spy disguised as tree: "AUGH, MY SPLEEN!" Master Assassin: "What was that?" Human spy: "I mean, uh... tree noises?" Master Assassin: "Hmm... These bleeding trees seem to be getting more and more common. Might have to clear the thicket around the training ground soon." Other trees: *Nervous photosynthesis.*
(Later that night) Human Spy: (hushed) "Jerry... JERRY!" Jerry: "*snrk* eh... whaa...?" HS: (hushed) "What the HELL was that?! 'Tree noises'?! What kind of tree goes 'tree noises' when stabbed by a throwing knife?! You almost blew our cover!" Jerry: (hushed) "I panicked! It hurt! I had to think of something!" HS: (hushed) "Then next time, shake a branch, make a rustling noise, I don't care! Just don't outright say 'TREE NOISES'!" Patrolling Wolf 1: "Those trees have been arguing for the past few minutes." Patrolling Wolf 2: "Ah, let em go for another hour or so, then we'll strike em."
He did miss, but I'm guessing it's by rather less than his teacher would want to admit.
So THIS is why Natani focus on magic.
With better aim though, he could definitely kill someone! He's got quite the arm. Thank God he didn't kill Keith though.
