God the Way she’s looking at the earth is so serene
How I envy Laura at this moment. I simply love space. A wonderful piece. Simple, serene, and beautiful.
The astronauts who have done that say it's literally mind-altering. “I really believe that if the political leaders of the world could see their planet from a distance of, let’s say 100,000 miles, their outlook would be fundamentally changed. The all-important border would be invisible, that noisy argument suddenly silenced.” – Michael Collins
Nice.
Ground control, to Major Laura...
Beautiful! Everyone she has ever known, loved, hated, all on that rock. What a view!

Oh, I would definitely like to see a colored version of this art. Thank you for giving these space vibes today!

Really amazing scene Tom!
Well, this is now set as my screen wallpaper.
1500 sunday sketches!
And Laura thinks to herself "In retrospect I probably shouldn't have let Willow lead our trip to space camp..."
Reminds me a bit of the ending of Robert Heinlein’s story “The Man Who Sold The Moon”.
🎶🎵 I don't know what words I can say The wind has a way to talk to me Flowers sleep, a silent lullaby I pray for reply I'm ready Quiet days calm me Oh, serenity Someone please tell me Oh, what is it they say? Maybe I will know one day I don't know what words I can say The wind has a way to talk to me Flowers sleep, a silent lullaby I pray for reply I'm ready 🎵🎶
Well I was going to comment on the song that reminded me of, but then I looked up the lyrics and it was in fact that song. Thank you ThirdKind, I hadn't thought about that one in a while! :) https://youtu.be/H6ojLNsoi0w
