Maeve gives off Protagonist energy in this. May get sketchy for a bit, but they generally have a better than 50% win rate.
What concerns me is the looks on their faces. Maeve looks wayyyy too confident. ^_^
Maeve looks excited and enthusiastic about this. Maddie just looks like she’s ready to dish out some pain no matter what.
Sneps have a vertical of 20 feet, and can leap upwards of 40. For those reasons, my money is on Maeve XD
Ironically, that's a lot of airtime. If Maddie gets a second ball (dodgeball was always a team game when I played, shouldn't be hard) then two rockets sent the snep's way will finish her. One to force Maeve to jump, the other is a matter of intuitive physics calculations.

I'm doubling down on Maeve. Maddie is too aggressive for dodgeball. Maeve, on the other hand, will dodge anything Maddie throws at her and will eventually tire Maddie out to the point she will be easy pickings. :D
I think Maddie should win it, but law of cute/funny tells me Maeve will.
Nice contrast between those two. Looks like Maddie plays to win and Maeve just to have fun. But make no mistake, those ARE the last two players standing. They were the best in their respective teams. Or just lucky, lol. Thanks Tom!

My money's on Maeve handing Madelyn a humiliating defeat, but she'll be a good sport and give Maddie some encouraging words and helpful tips.
As much as I may want Maeve to win, I cannot ignore that Lt. Madelyn _absolutely_ has Basitin military training at her disposal. Maeve's lack of such might give her a slight edge at first, due to the (probably) chaotic tactics she'll use, but Maddie's espionage suite will learn those tactics sooner or later and she'll be boxed in.
Nobody is pointing out what I think is the obvious. Just the sight of those two holding those balls, and I swear I can actually HEAR this picture!

Mave's pose almost looks like she's centering herself. If I'm not overanalyzing I think Maddie may have bitten off more than she could chew.
does hitting the tail count? becouse if so then the floofy snowleopard tail is a disadvantage
For Dodgeball? Probably a disadvantage. For Paintball? Advantage. Paintball hits only count if the round breaks (and leaves a coin sized mark), so a fluffy tail can act as a shield and absorb the hits without breaking the balls.
Maeve for sure. Maddie has a look of determination, Maeve has a placid look that says, “you’re destruction is imminent”

Literally six years old, but given the rate that Keidran mature, it's equivalent to 10-12 for a Human or Basitin (.e. just shy of puberty).

They were exhausted Maddie: "Huff... Puff... J-Just give up..." Maeve: "N-Never... L-Listen. tihs is... pointless..." Maddie: "Yeah... Give up a-and I will owe you" Maeve: "There's a new restaurant which was open recently... You buy me a lunch" Maddie: "...Deal" After that, Maeve throw a ball into Basitin's face. Maeve: "Well, it's look like I'll pay"
I love the contrast between the expressions on their faces. Maeve: "I'm so glad my best friend talked me into this. This game is so much fun, especially when you play together with friends." Maddie: "May this ball be your downfall. Victory shall be mine. Only the strong prevail."
Maeve. Look at that smile, it either ends with a ball to the face and some crying.. or more likely everyone being destroyed.
i do think madelyn would like win but look at maeve all cute and innocent all deserving of a hug and a chocolate cookie with a good story to be told

I expect this ends with Maeve on the ground, swirly-eyed @_@, clutching a smoking red rubber ball. Human Nora blows a whistle and signals that Maddie is out. Maddie is wide-eyed and clearly impressed. In the bleachers, Adira is waving her fist angrily towards Maddie as King Adelaide sits next to her, cross-armed and wearing a smug and bemused smile. Kat is trotting towards Maddie, carrying a first-aid kit. Trace is sitting at the end of the bleachers, watching but not understanding what's going on. Flora is next to him, cheering and waving a small triangular flag that doesn't match either side's colors.
