This post and the one linked in the description should probably get the "DJ Dragon" tag added. I just went looking for pics of him, and the only reason I found these is that they're linked from the earliest post with his tag.
And the Fire Marshal can shut you down before the flame dies away. LOL
Honestly I thought it was a young Nora at first
He looks like a Stephen. Don’t you think
OOntz... ooNTz... OONTZ... oontz...
I just realized that all the dragons in the comic have no ears
This dragon has ears, right behind his horns.
My gosh he’s gorgeous! Is it possible to fall in love with a drawing?
Yes, yes it is. Or at leas crush on a drawn or text described character.
I heard of a band (opening sequence of xXx, I can't remember the name) that refused to play if the venue refused to let them use their pyrotechnics.
I´m sure that you mean Rammstein, Yes, they´re very popular for using A LOT of pyrotechnics on stage and in their shows.. ;)
I like this dragon, can we keep him?
On another note... Can we just call him DJ? Something about it just... fits. DJ. Short for Dragon Junior. (Mr. Dragon is his father.)
New Dragon character? Nice. For a moment, I thought the DJ was Nora.
Is it only me or does the ears look a bit wrong? Not bad wrong, i´m used to dragons without ears ^^
Seems fine to me.
He is cute, get some drinks, invite couple friends, and just chill and vibe
Hate to bring the mood down, but the manager there is right. Night club fires are no joke. Just Google "The Station Fire" if you don't want to sleep for a week. That said, if our DJ friend can restrain himself to just illusionary fire, that should be just fine. Heck, if all he's doing is prestidigitation, why stop at just fire breath? Fireworks, smoke figures, blazing phoenixes, the sky's the limit as long as none of it's real. Sorry again, folks. Such is the cross we history majors must bear.
Plays lots of Dragonforce?
Thus the menagerie grows. We have anymore side characters and Tom's gonna run out of computer space to save them all
Headcanon: DJ Dragon is a young drake (Reni's age, or slightly younger) who recently left home to spend his first years on his own in the big city. Living apart from the world has made him somewhat obsessed with both technology, and the lives and habits of the many mortal species that inhabit the city. His fascination with the intricacies of modern human, keidran, and basitin life have led some of his fellow dragons to tease that he has a "mortal fetish". He still insists his interests are completely innocent, though he does admit some of them can be... cute. Growing up sheltered from the rest of modern society, he's actually quite shy until you get to know him, and is known in his social circles as something of a nerd. Although, as dragons are still quite rare in large settlements even in modern times, he's quickly become something of a minor celebrity in the city. Especially since he took up mixing his own music and started doing MC gigs at trendy local clubs. Being a DJ lets him scratch his technology itch while getting to socialize with all the mortals his nerdy little durg heart can handle. He still doesn't think of himself as much of a "party" kind of drake, but he does enjoy the attention being a trendsetting socialite brings. And his new fame totally hasn't gone to his head! Well... maybe just a little. But nobody got hurt in that first nightclub fire. Plus, the insurance paid for everything and he got a nice bump in social media cred! Actual canon, per Tom on stream: He used his transformative powers to give himself external ears because people kept bugging him about why he used headphones. Also, he thinks they're cute. (That last bit might be more headcanon...) Great work, Tom! I love this cute dragum boy already! Congrats, CookieDragon!
I read the comment a bit wrongly thanks to mental shortcuts. Your description of him having a nerdy little durg heart made me read that as "nerdy little drug heart" and I did a double take over that. For reference, my D&D buddies always write that U as an E so it would look like "nerdy little derg heart" and still get the point across. The word "dreg" just isn't that common these days, and is often pluralized when encountered, so that mental shortcut doesn't come up.
Oh god, I love this.
I was hoping someone would suggest this.
I'd date that DJ ^^
I don't know if you'd be up to scale...
Hell yeah, DJ Dragon
Nice DJ setup. Surprised/not surprised they make them dragon sized. At least he's not trying play vinyl with talons.
Dragon Gulp is 144 oz.
What a cutie! 💗
HES SO CUTE
