Misc Sketches: Mythical Creatures
A bunch of artist friends and I got together to do sketches based on prompts. The theme ended up being mythological creatures, and this is what I ended up doing. Prompt 1 was "Dragons, no stick figures" (I was a bit cheeky and made my dragon out of sticks) Prompt 2 was "Gryphon and eggs" and Prompt 3 was "Hydra bait."

I'm in love with the stick dragon. Just imagining some kind of Fae guardian animating the forest
That hydra Nora! I'm dying
HAIL, HYDRA!
Seems some dragons are branching out to fight deforestation... I'll just leaf now...
Hey, just stick to your puns. Tree’ll eventually be good.
Tongue~
and Hydra Nora "Kevin" gets the lick in
These are awesome! I love that "stick" dragon.
Does a stick dragon sawdust or those twirly seeds that fall like helicopter blades?
Three headed Nora, Trace's worse nightmare.
Hydra Nora is awesome! :)
bird boobers
I think you're assuming a gender.
Must have more gryphoness. Maybe she can be in a story with Willow and Magpie…
First Sketch: Oooh! Now THAT'S some high level druid magic! Second Sketch: Give the pretty gryfurb lady all the eggs she wants! What are you waiting for?! Third Sketch: What does it say about Nora that hydra heads are typically depicted as having different personality traits, yet all of hers are thirsty? ;p Great work as always, Tom!
That second comment... that could be taken a number of ways, Rough. ;)
OMG hydra Nora is killing me
Yes to all of these xD
That first one pretty fuckin rad. Arbor dragon, or wooden construct?
Either or sounds like a very interesting idea for a story element
Cut all 3 heads off, and you get 6 Noras! Win-win!
