Eh, Maren's just hangry. It's a common symptom after getting shoved in a giant crystal and nearly possessed. More common than you'd think, really. She'll get right over it once she has a few slices of fancy pizza. Great work, Tom! I love the little Valentines plot this week's sketches follow! :D

Trace: "Look, Maren. I understand that you're still mad at me for what happened back at the manor, but can we all just agree to let it go? It's practically ancient history now." Maren: "It was last week!" Trace: "Well, either way, it's over. I don't get why you're still so mad about it." Maren: "You made me into a popsicle and tried to shove your dead wife's ghost in me!" Trace: "Maren, listen. If everybody stayed mad at me over some awful thing Old Me did, I'd have no friends." Maren: "HOW is that supposed to make me feel better?!" Trace: "...I dunno. I kinda forgot where I was trying to go with that one." *Clears throat awkwardly.* Flora: "Who wants breadsticks?" Sythe: "Oh, boy! A different subject! I mean... breadsticks! That sounds delicious!" *Cut to the four munching on breadsticks together in only slightly awkward silence.*

Maren looks like this is not long after the current events of the comic and still hasn’t forgiven him for his past self’s attempted bodysnatching.

Trace: “Hey Maren, you’re not still angry I tried to kill you right?” Maren: “I don’t know trace, do I look like I’m happy to see you?” Flora: “Wow Sythe, you have a human mate too, I’m so happy for you!” Sythe: “It’s a really long story, It’s nice to see you too Flora.”

In an alternate universe: "Soooo...who's got a bed at home big enough to accommodate all of us?"

None of them have had a proper divorce. “Separated” spouses can’t remarry. Sorry Trace and Flora. Ya’ll better finalize that s**t.

On the bright side, Trace and Flora can tell the others about how racist the restaurant is. (Edit: I just saw the sign that says New Management)
