Looks like the rain is passing while two friends enjoy some quiet time with some good coffee. I do wonder, though; did Maeve inherit the inn from her mother?
I'd certainly hope so. Assuming the Inn-portal doesn't become unfortunate.
Is it Maddie already like 20?
In the comic at the time of this comic she's nineteen. Though remember keidrean age faster than humans and basitins. So while Maeve is 15 years younger, she will catch up developmentally, the downside is they grow old faster as well so she'd eventually overtake maddie in apparent age. When dealing with other species, it's important to understand the age of adulthood of both and lifespan disparity

Yes! Tom did a fantastic job. Also, I know most people don't like rainy days but I think it makes moments like these all the more cozy, and rain makes the worlds colors so vibrant!
Maeve: What did you like better, Jedi or The Empire Strikes Back? Madelyn: Empire. Maeve: Blasphemy. Madelyn: Empire had the better ending. I mean, Luke gets his hand cut off, finds out Vader's his father. Han gets frozen and taken away by Boba Fett. It ends on such a down note. I mean, that's what life is, a series of down endings. All Jedi had was a bunch of Muppets.
Maeve: "Today has been wonderful, but um..." Maddie: "But what?" Maeve: "What's with all the Basitins hiding in bushes and taking pictures?" Maddie: "Oh, them? Basitin paparazzi. Comes with being a Royal's daughter. I caused quite the scandal when I decided to come to the mainland and attend a public university, you know." Maeve: "Oh! Well, should we... do something about them?" Maddie: "Yeah, I got it. Watch this... BY THE LAW! THAT VISITING MAGISTRATE IS COMPLETELY NAKED!" *Nothing happens.* Maddie: "-AND HE ISN'T WEARING ANKLE WRAPS!" *Explosion of camera-wielding Basitins running for the street.* Maddie: "Heh. Works every time." *Takes a satisfied sip.*
Thank you very much Tom for sketching my suggestion! It has came out better than I imagined! The ladies look quite lovely, and the setting being outside is a great touch. I love the water trickles from the umbrella.
This is adorable, but i’d be irritated that my tail was getting wet
Especially with tail fluff like that, it would take days to dry out
