Given that Nat is trans, I do think it's very sweet that getting a wetnurse is high on Keiths list of priorities. I can imagine having to breastfeed a baby could trigger gender dysphoria.

Pregnat might've been better. But the fact that Keith is taking it seriously also belies that the two of em' have either boned, or Keith is reeeeeeaaally ignorant about how babies are made.

Actually, when presented with something like that, being over the top 110% serious about it can be a really good response even if you aren't really. Kind of like the "pretend clueless and make them explain the offensive joke" response.

I've had described to me a scene from a movie called "Life Itself". In it a woman tells her boyfriend she's pregnant as an April Fool's prank. Her boyfriend is from some culture that doesn't have April Fool's, so the "reveal" rapidly devolves into explaining the basic concept of April Fool's to him. I just can't imagine a more painful conversation.
