For some reason the first thing I thought of when seeing this was that one sea of thieves video, where a guy goes "Captain look!" As a massive ship barrels right at them

Not the pairing I expected to see, but a welcome one, at that. No, it doesn't have to be a ship, it's more just - I didn't expect a pic of Kat and Mike interacting alone. Similar to how you see little to no interaction between, say, Trace and Eric for some reason or Evals (a dog) with all our lovely Wolf Keidran.
Even I don't think this is a pairing image, I think Mike is mature enough to understand that an act of kindness doesn't mean that Kat wants his body. Or who knows, maybe Kat and Mike momentarily cured each other's loneliness and that's why Eric won't touch Kat.
