If I were to speculate the collar's purpose...I'd say it makes a normal trained animal look like a Keidran, so that to an actual keidran they look like a broken, tamed slave, for the purpose of instilling fear and/or model behavior?
What if that book wake up the shadow-dragon-thing? :o
Edgy book cover :3
Rose: That's it, I'm getting my revolver and shooting her. Sythe: NO! If you’re going to shoot her, shoot me as well! Rose: Okay.
noooo comics dont come out fast enough! :) great work Tom
A dark-covered notebook with a skull engraved on its front...And a skull is often seen as a symbol of danger and/or death...A Death Note?
or evil Trace was edgy
The plot thickens~
Something else I like about this series, is getting to see certain characters interact who haven't in the main comic.
It's sad seeing Scythe so worried though. Hope Nibbly wakes up soon so he can calm down
I think he'd get more... excited... If ya know what I mean... xD
It's about to get fun :)
poor mrs nibbly
I sense trouble afoot. The way wizards work is by throwing magic about and seeing what happens...in this case it could be a catasterous disastrophe!
Standard operating procedure. Wizards are the fantasy world equivalent of engineers.
*Trace begins reciting random incantations*

Everybody's ears within a 5 meter radius and the estate's window shutters begin flapping wildly.
And then the main character set off to save the day by reading through a huge pile of books and old notes. Not a traditional sort of fairy tale, but perhaps my kind of fairy tale.
see this is why the enchanted slave collars i make don't kill. if anybody(except me) try's to remove one not only will it not come off, but another collar with the same enchantments appears around the neck of the person who made the removal attempt.
Good to see that the Evil Grand Templar followed proper Mad Scientist guidelines and kept notes. Lots of illustrations? Hmmm... Perhaps there is a chapter on enhanced libido, something about it being an exponential function of the amount of size difference induced. Then of course there are the dire warnings, first of which is to to never use it on small woodland creatures that might be immortal and/or invincible.
Bippity-bop, till ya drop. Diabolical.
I liking that there is a lot of characters involved so far in this story.
It's gonna be just like the Fate series, you have to bang each other to keep the magic work. Or in this case have it dissipate. Also why has no one considered just keeping Nibbly in her present form?
Fair point about Nibbly. Maybe she likes this form?
A book with a skull on the front cover. Cannot see anything malicious about that.
Rose's deadpan reply is hilarious.
The skull book out of a box labled "DANGER! Do Not Open!" you mean? Surly everything will be happy fuzzy puppies!
I'm still waiting to see how Mrs Nibbly feels about all this.
Time to save the squirrel!
I'm betting one thing in the box is a book labeled "Rules of Being an Evil Overlord"
do the thing, trace!
