The only thing an immortal being can do when old friends pass away, is making new friends.
Thank you for drawing this Tom. I can't quite fit into words why, but I appreciate that this picture exists.
I didn’t read the description and I thought Nora was talking about Floria
It's been a long time since Tom draw real suffering on a character's face. And damn it, he knows how to do it! It may be just a sketch but I've rarely seen such expression of pure pain in drawn media.
Everybody will eventually have that same felling in their life.
Whats especially sad is that Nora will watch Trace die aswell, a cruel irony.
2000 plus years old or not, I refuse to believe that Nora is absolutely immortal. Invincibility and immortality are only possible in the afterlife.
This makes me wonder what Nora was thinking as Trace began his path to darkness, did she try to get him to stop, or was she just like “eh whatever”
based on when he first used dark magic to create a dragon she either tried to dissuade him or was unaware
I wonder if Trace helped the pain pass along by attempting to resurrect Saria and eventually overthrowing Grandmaster Silverlock just to make the pain go away.
...Indeed she's watched countless mortals live and die, but she only helps them when it suits her. She knows nothing. The only thing I'm consumed by right now is distrust.
What, exactly, was she supposed to do? She's talking about people natural passing away.
The feels are real with this one...
Such a nice dragon
Trace saying it when his eyes are already becoming inexpressive ............ You haven't been listened , Nora X_X
You did a fantastic job with Trace's eyes, Tom. Captures his sullen outlook.
It didn't help sadly and he still went mad. :/
The “all things pass” line probably didn’t help.
The heartbreak of this is that even as Nora attempted to comfort her friend, he was already beginning to sway to the darkness within him....
It almost feels like a canon moment. What if your best friend could stop the suffering that was destroying you by making you forget your past?
...I don't think it was Nora who erased Lady Nora's memory. Either way, after everything I've seen throughout the comic, I'd say she's caused more suffering than she's relieved. Trace may be one of her exceptions, but...
for a second i thought this was after flora passes from old age. lol, still excellent work, even without words the expressions say it all.
The truth :/
Pretty heart wrenching. The look on Trace's face is spot on.
The feelings, oh my god. ;_;
A tender moment. Sad that he did not handle grief... well, to say the least. Things are better now.<br>Glad we got to explore this!
I'm not crying you're crying ;~;
Nora: Saria's gone, one more round, Saria’s gone. Trace: Really, REALLY! Nora: What, it’s my favorite Johnny Cash song! Trace: ……….I hate you! Nora: I know. (Smiles)
Alexa this is so sad play Despacito.
Too bad he went down a dark path for a while after....
Dark
Real.
Damn
