Isn't it too soon for the baby? I mean, the main couple is still expecting, but these two just met when Trace and company arrived back to the manor.
I think Thomas is just doing a fast-forward pic for their relationship. He's done pics of how they first met, their trysts, meeting the parents (with Therie pregnant), and now with the baby. Apparently, Daniels deserted the military to be with her. So it's all jumping forward in time.
...at least they're happy. It all matters now.

Things sure got real! Love it! It has the same kind of dramatic tension as some of the Biblical stories, such as the Flight to Egypt (Mary and Joseph with baby Jesus) or the part where Moses' mother sends him in a basket down the Nile. xD

This HAS to be canon to the story. Its too bittersweet not to be. This seriously needs to be made into a side comic one day. The story of those two has got to be something! And I seriously hope we get those last two pics of them colored. <3

I would assume this baby is furry, but you can't really tell. Can only see hair on the head, not exactly a dead giveaway.

This just makes me think that all we need more in the background would be like a Templar recruitment/propaganda poster. (Although that May because I may or may not have just been looking at Imperial propaganda posters before this)
Who is Deserter?
Not sure if you're joking, so I'm going to answer seriously. A deserter is a soldier who decides to leave the military without permission. The implication here is that Daniels is the deserter.

This is what happens when side stories move faster than main stories. Not that something like this may happen. But things have been pretty good for our protagonists so far, so you know it’s soon going to sh*t.
<b>STORY-COMMENT™</b> Therie: Are you sure about this? Daniels: Yes, I’m positive. Things have gotten so bad lately. I can’t live with myself if you and Jun (Japanese: 純) we’re found by the Templar. Therie: Where will we go though? Brahn betrayed my people, and your parents would be endangered if we went to them. Daniels: An old friend of mine, who dropped out of the guard academy, said something about chasing after the old Grand Templar and his group with an Adrakist friend that was in prison for a while, and a potions brewer. Landen said they were heading north east. Therie: Do you think they’re trying to find Lynn Knoll? The Legacys and their friends? I’ve heard of a city to the north where Humans, Keidran, and even those strange rabbit-folk, live together in peace. I was always told it’s a rumor to give people hope, but never thought it may be real. Daniels: I’m certain it’s real. Before he changed for the better, Grand Templar Legacy put a price on the location of Lyn’Knoll, one which Brahn still upholds. I’m certain that’s where he and his friends are going. Therie: If that’s where they’re going… Both (alarmed): We need to stop Landen’s group before they get there! Unknown guard: Halt! Who Goes There! Therie: *puts on hood* Unknown guard: I saw that! You’re a Keidran! Is your master deaf! Tell him to reveal himself. Daniels (whispering): I’ll deal with this Therie. Keep Jun safe. *stands up in cart and jumps down, landing in superhero pose, to face the guard* (aloud): My Name is DeWei Desiderio Daniels, You will not harm her, Leave here or Die. Guard: Daniels? Daniels my friend. *removes helmet* Daniels: Keiren! What are you doing standing post like this? Keiren: I knew you were going to try leaving sometime soon and didn’t want the others to catch you. I wanted to wish you well. We’ve all fallen victim to Brahn’s will and I hope that you and Therie *waves to Therie* are able to safely make it to Lyn’Knoll Therie: But, how did you know where we were going? Keiren: Everyone says that’s where Trace Legacy, his family, and their friends left towards. We still don’t know where it is, and it’s best we don’t learn, but I hope you two don’t encounter anyone on the way. Here’s something for you two. A mask for you Therie, Reni gave it to me, she said it can perfectly disguise you in any way you wish, including as a human. Daniels *hugs him* I’m gonna miss you buddy, I’ve placed an edict saying that you are on official business, and a few hundred gold, in your bag to help you on your journey. Please, be safe my friend. I’m glad to have served in the guard with you.

Why they both leaves as criminal ? Daniel can say to Keiren that he leaves the guards . Then Therie and him goes to live in keidran feline lands
During all our war you can’t just resign from service. You’re indentured to service until you’re service is over, you die on the field of battle, you do something criminal and get court martialed, or the war ends.
They could move into Casa Legacy. It's big enough, and the security system is first-rate!
Unless Brahn attacked and destroyed the estate trying to get to Trace and Flora.
This could do decently as a side story. Cough cough (group C) cough cough

They arrive in Lyn’Knoll and have to help Trace and Co defend it against the Templar.
Mmm ok if this is actually how things end for these two, or should I say tree then personally find it a bit of a bad ending. It's not really a sad end but still a downer in my opinion. Also if anything this makes Daniels a Theries story more interesting I think. I mean this looks more like the start of a epic story to me. Like the whole time travel idea, and that the baby is Flora

Holy shit that got dark REALLY quickly but sadly given the nature of the Templars and even some of the Keidran, this would be totally expected. ESPECIALLY in a world where Brahn has absolute power now.

Those "Templar Towers" remind me of the Combine's "Citadel" in HL2. They even explode like the Citadel!
