Yesterday may 8th we had a career day in school and the girl at my school named Kat had almost the exact same cloths as Kat in the comic

But she is a toddler by Keidran Standards, and it is just a toy Sword. Maybe we should keep her. She’d make a great sparring partner for him when she grows up.” Cathleen: “Cornelius! Because she’d make a good sparring partner isn’t a good reason to put Keith’s life on the line. What if she got a hold of an actual knife?” Cornelius: “Sorry, the General part of me kind of took over for a second...” *Child Zen starts running in their general direction* Zen (crying): {“Natani! Anyone... seen baby sister!?”} <“Natani! Where Are You!?!?”> Cathleen (to Cornelius): {“She has family, we can’t keep her.”} Cornelius: {“Over here Boy! Is this your sister?”} Zen: {“Much Thank…”} *Keith steps forward with Natani* Keith: {“She’s so Fluffy I’m gonna die!”} Natani (mumbled Past Sword in toddler talk): <“I’m not Fluffy, I’m a ferocious wolf warrior like Zen!”> Zen: {“She… all family left. I... alone without her.”} Cathleen: “Awww! They’re orphans! What can we do Cornelius?” Cornelius: “Well, if we keep them Keith can have two…” *bopped on head* “Ow! Sorry, you’re right.” “There’s an older student that I taught in academy. The guys are too scared of her to be her mate (I kind of don’t blame them, she could probably take my title right now if she wanted), she badly wants to have children, but, well, terrorized suitors. I was about to start courting her before I met you.” Cathleen: {“Do you mean Alafair? Like, Alafair Adelaide? Yes she’s tough enough to take care of these two, but aren’t you worried she would get too tough?”} Cornelius: {“I’m pretty sure”} <“We know someone who might be able to take you two in…”> Adelaide: {“I heard someone taking about me, and in the Human Tongue also? What’s with all the secrecy?”} *Looks at Zen, Natani, and Keith* {“They’re so adorable! Where did these two Keidran playmates come from?”} Cornelius: {“Actually, Keith found his sister on the street somewhere. They’re orph...”} Adelaide (directed at Zen and Natani (the latter pauses roughhousing because: <“Big Mama Basitin! Really really big Mama Basitin”>)): <“I’m so sorry you two lost your parents. My parents were the only eastern casualties when we invaded this half of the island, so I’m an orphan also...”> *Cornelius tears up* Cornelius (whispering): {“I didn’t know she was an orphan also.”} Cathleen (whispering): {“Are those tears?”} Cornelius (after quickly wiping face): {“No! I’m not crying, it’s just raining, from my eyes.”} Adelaide: <“I’m gonna adopt you two if that’s OK. It’ll mean three hot meals a day, warm beds, and you’ll have anything else you need.”> Zen: <“Gee, thanks Miss! How did you learn to speak Keidran as good as you do?”> Adelaide: <“My Mom taught me before she died.”> Cathleen (thinking suspiciously): “Her Keidran accent sounds a lot like mine. Was her mother a westerner?”

That's because Basitins respect strength. If a wolf pup would dare swing a sword IN THEIR MOUTH at one of em, why, what Basitin wouldn't want to keep them.
