This is the best alternate timeline. This fits with Zen and Natani being adopted by Adelaide, and all sorts of other wholesome.
In my mind, Kat actually gets Eric in this AU, Flora and Sythe actually did love each other and had beautiful kids, and Saria never died, and had an opportunity to finish teaching Trace the principals of treating one for who they are rather than what.

Oh look, Rose doesn't suppress Raine's magic so that she can learn how to control her power. Rose is also being honest, and supporting Raine, not just shipping her off for the sake of saving face and one's advancement. Sorry for the rant but I hate Mary for abandoning Raine.
