You know, I could imagine Clovis selling kis own kids into slavery. But his own parents! I can´t take out what´s worse.
Good picture , but impossible event : the humans would have enslaved Clovis too (so , haven't to pay and more money by selling him : classic slaver mind) . I think more about something happening to his parents when young and forcing him to do bad things to survive ........

Then again, Clovis did not like the fact he was born a hybrid so maybe he is seeing this as payback? We do not know why Clovis as a hybrid is a bad thing.
I think hybrids are looked down upon for being ‘impure’. Remember how Kat was embarrassed about not being a pure blood?
