My cooking when instructions aren't clear enough be like:
Positive reinforcement when learning to cook is important, but so is avoiding food poisoning. Or... whatever that helldish would inflict.

Cooking is harder than it looks. I tried cooking powdered soup, followed the instructions to the letter, and the pasta was still hard, so I had to cook it some more.
General rule of thumb for most pasta is to cook for 7 minutes, depending on personal preferences.
Either way. Time to order out.
Ahhh, children. More exuberance than patience (or experience for that matter). My daughter wasn't allowed near the kitchen until she was 19! Especially after a similar incident when she was 12. Of course, my daughter managed to destroy a large microwave... 🤨🤨🤨🥰🥰🥰
