I'm picturing almost a twist on the gift of the magi... she wanted them to be closer, was too embarrassed, and changed the size on the order from Large to Medium. He wanted them to be closer but knew she'd deny it if asked, so he changed the size on their order from Medium to Small. And both are totally happy 😌
