Feral Form Flora
A redux of Flora in feral form from the very early days of the comic, suggested by Seeth!
Tom Note: Feral form was one of those concepts I original had a long time ago that ended up falling to the wayside as the comic evolved. The idea was that Keidran were a bit more magical in nature, and could shift into a more animalistic mode when they were threatened, but the trade-off was that it put them in danger of going feral mentally, which they could become trapped in if they lost themselves. I ended up not using this concept much, especially when the idea of what a Keidran was solidified more and they became more like normal people just like humans.

Now I'm kind of interested in seeing what Raine would look like in feral form, like if one of the encounters she was in ended up forcing her to have to rely on her instincts, or something angered her enough to put her in a rage induced feral state

One other minor bit of feedback: one of the stripes by Flora's left knee creates an optical illusion of the stripe overshooting due to the perfect alignment of the pattern curving around her leg and her outline where her fur is jagged in places for texture. Since the sketch version had her stripe in a slightly different place, it's clearly not an error but does kinda give the illusion of one due to the visual quirk! It still looks excellent - just a minor observation!

Yeah, this was my #1 pick for color, also. And the premise is kinda cool. I'll bet there are a lot of people with a new wallpaper on their screens.
This came out extremely nicely. The slightly different facial structure from the sketch has translated into a an interesting blend between 'realism' and stylised art. It feels closer to what Flora would 'really' look like, while still keeping her style consistent with the comic. A little like the spectacles of true sight sketches, but downscaling the 'realism' slightly since there's no fur texture here. Not entirely sure why precisely. Probably a mixture between the additional details on her face (especially the markings where whiskers would be) and the slight change in proportions. Excellent stuff Tom.

I understand your choice. Still, I sometimes wonder if we would see the feral form concept again. It would be crazy if one of the main keidran characters got provoked to anger due to someone harming their close ones and unleash their feral instinct, or if the Templar has a group of feral keidran in captive, planning to use them as ‘weapons’ of war.
