Tiger Fishing

Does this count as cat fishing?

Tiger fish

I wonder what pound test line Trace is using? He'll be playing her for hours....

...what could go wrong?

Trace used Flora as bait. It worked..

Mind the hook!

Hello future color picture!

Trace: Hey that's my catch! Flora: Not anymore! Trace: >:( Flora: :)

Hmm fisch she flora XD Tiger fish

She is always so hungry. Trace should predict this by now.

Crikey that's a big catch

Really hope there isn't a hook in that fish... T_T

She's a fishing tiger now

So, who's going to get credit for catching the fish? Trace hooked it, but Flora has it in her mouth.

Flora might not be so happy if she isn't careful of the hook.

My question is, was Trace regular fishing and Flora decided to get the fish her way? Or was Trace using fish as bait to catch a tiger?

This is so pretty!

There was a sign on their door. "gone fishing". Rose saw it and thought, "Is that what they call it these days?".

Poor Trace, worried that Flora might get hurt with a hook

A very adorable, wholesome, precious, gorgeous, and sexy, naked swimmer!

Trace: Hey! I was already reeling that one in Flora! Flora doesn't care. She got the fish.

The perspective really comes out great in this shot. It's a really dynamic angle that makes the piece a lot more exciting in a way that being above the water line wouldn't manage to pull off. The level of detail in a sketch is obviously limited, but if it was inked and coloured there might be an opportunity to sell the water movement on the reeds/plants. Though I'm sure Tom would be inclined to think about that regardless. And yes, the lighting is great as always, especially the caustics from the water. Excellent work.

Flora's going to be eating well tonight! Trace, Keith, and Natani, on the other hand...

I know this would be a pain to colour, but I really wanna see how Tom renders the water here.

He caught the big one! Stripus Flatus, rare species in these rivers

When they said "catfishing", I'm at least 83% sure this isn't what they had in mind...

haha fimsh

adorable! :)

This is a beautiful sketch

feesh :3

Now to show her swimming for money. (I don't know what their country uses instead of a dollar.)

aweeeee, Flora is the best fisher!

Hopefully the hook doesn’t end up in Flora’s mouth

Fishing with live bait fish still appears to be permitted in Mekkan. 🧐

Hey, if it works

Hope Trace doesn't mind bite marks on his fish...then again you could see it as an indirect kiss

Flora like a lot of cats is very impatient when it comes to fish.

This one is just plain beautiful. Flora just enjoying herself. Marvelous! 🤧🥰

Amazing catch there, Trace. Also Flora is so adorable, as always! :)
