I kind of imagine Reed having a sort of Yor Forger type situation going on in the lynx kingdom, where she's really bad at hiding the fact that she's stronger than she looks and is actually a trained warrior.

I know there was that one sketch where Sorrel saw Reed in human form. But story wise, does he know she’s human in disguise and is hiding it or is he totally oblivious?
He knows Reed is a human in disguise. It doesn't matter to him. The both keep up the pose in public.

Chest floof seems to be mostly a fashion statement among the lynx. I’m glad to see that Reed has already made two strong statements, and the prince seems to approve.

Flirting even after getting his tail handed to him; Prince really has passion, persistence, and likely a bit of inner pervert (possibly newly discovered or, most likely, specific to a particular lynx).
During their match, Sorrel did get some interesting holds.
And he successfully penetrated her defense multiple times, though she was not particularly against this.
Poor Rowan, it's a good thing cats are flexible because that Family Guy knockout pose looks painful.

Plausible. Why wouldn’t you train your princesses in combat? I know wolves tend to be very patriarchal, and look down on women. Tigers are matriarchal, but I’m not sure if that means females would be expected to fight. Not sure about Lynx’s in general.
I know in tk lore the wolf thing is true, but irl wolves are matriarchal within the pack, and the entire pack or family fights when necessary.

"You see, we lynxes usually need ways to blow off steam. This princess and I... things were kind of weird between us. Some kind of tension, I think. It probably didn't help that the first time we met, I begged her to marry me. Maybe a little too forward of me. But then she suggested we settle it with a sparring match. Turns out she was a much better hand-to-hand fighter than I thought. I had reach, she had flexibility. The fight was brutal. After nine rounds, the judges called it a draw. Lot of unhappy bettors in the castle. We, ah, held a tiebreaker in my chambers later. I had reach, she had flexibility. More than one way to work off steam, I guess."

This does bring up an odd question: do Keidran sweat? Lynxes, indeed most fur bearing mammals will pant and/or lose heat from bareskinned areas like ears and paws. But Reed is clearly dripping sweat here. Is it because she's magically transformed?
