You know this begs a real question. Does she have gigantisem? The "kings" size is clearly not normal for a Bastian and seems totally unique based on the slice of the island we have seen. is she essentially a Goliath figure? An anomaly due to some biological issue that made her grow beyond what would ever normally happen? EDIT: Its clearly not genetic as Maddie is actually smaller than the norm since as far as we know her father isn't exceptionally short.

Maddie is actually older than she seems. She intentionally uses her youthful appearance to her advantage. She stated this herself at some point in the comic, but I can't be bothered to go find the exact page, lol

It's kinda crazy how Zen is the 3rd or 4th tallest character in the cast. As a fellow tall person (I'm 6 ft 4) I can tell his hips are about to be destroyed by Adelaide lol :) Speaking of his hips, they look a lot slimmer than usual
