You know, the latest time Reni 'flashed' Kei, might have, subconsciously, been deliberate. She seems to be growing rather fond of her human male friend...
And I have to admit... I rather liked 'fun sized' Reni...
(end of day, Keis' hair is pink with candyfloss as Reni just can't resist the lure of a sugar rush)
The sketch is adorable as is Reni's kobold form, but never going to understand how many seem to ship Kei and Reni based on a single superficial accidental comment from Reni over 10 years ago!
Isn't that how most fan ships work? Build hopes and excitement for a pairing based on a miniscule detail that was included just for fun and never intended as serious or meaningful by the writer? That said, I get the sense Tom collects just as many main story ideas from all the fan interactions and side art as he does from the inside of his own brain, so maybe this isn't as much of a crack-ship as it could be.

I mean, the only canon basis is that one single internal thought from Reni 10 years ago which doesn't even use Keiren's name and is purely superficial. No follow-up since, and Keiren immediately suppressed it!
