It's been implied in the series that Keidran are less alcohol-tolerant than humans, while Basitins are more alcohol-tolerant than humans (it takes hard liquor to get most Basitins drunk). It does make a sort of sense that species with a diet of primarily meat woudn't be too well adapted to a substance made from fermented sugars . . .

Look on the bright side: At least she's still got her clothes on... for now. Meanwhile Mike is watching this and wondering if there might be a repeat of last year's Halloween party in his future. And idly stroking his tail while he ponders whether or not to try getting his own girls out (changing form for the new members), maybe make things even more interesting.
