Pet Daughter
From pet owner to parent! The life and times of an ordinary human family who accidentally adopt what they at first assumed was a normal puppy. Could make for a heartwarming slice-of-life story, don't you think? ^^ Suggested by TheGamakazi!

In retrospect, it's a good thing he was wearing dark pants at the time...
This.
Awwwwwwwwwwwwww
Plz tell me you make a comic from this. It’s already amazing
You should make a comic of this, do not you think?
yes please! <3 this sounds amazing
I also thought of Florence
Sequel/spin-off! :)
Looks and sounds a little like Florence from Freefall.
SITCOM!
Que the laugh track.
"why is my pet talking?" *pushes coffe away*
⬆⬆⬆
Are you red?
Thomas watch animes for collecting inspiration ! Your Twokinds world has big potencial !
What would it be like for a human servant to have a keidran master?
Reminds me of the flashbacks of the webcomic 'Freefall'. Still, this has a lot of potential.
"Freefall" and Florence's development was my first thought, too. Or maybe one of the canine / lupine characters from "Twokinds" ending up in "the real world."
OMG Please make this as a small side comic!! <3
I can't help but see this as Mark and Chica!
Mark: HOLY BALLS!
Man: Oh crap! I think the drugs are kicking in!
I want this as a story
Magic Fridge or whatever, LoL
I want her
D'awwww that would be so cute
That looks like Tom
Aw, this is so brilliant! This WOULD be an amazing mini series.
I would so love a character with this backstory.
Can I have one!
This would be a great comic idea! I bet many people would that comic :D
Yes, I would love a comic based on this idea too. Not quite the same, but still a great comic, and this strip is on point: <a href="http://freefall.purrsia.com/ff1200/fv01150.htm" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">http://freefall.purrsia.com/ff1200/fv01150.htm</a>
LOL@the last panel. She's right, though. I'd probably be so flabbergasted I couldn't think straight.
I like the idea!
Definitely something I'd read. I gotta admit though, it'd be hella weird for your pet to just start talking one day. XD
Might have start a new Webcomic based around this
Awwww! I love this! And I would LOVE to see a story based on this!
is it bad i want to see a mini comic about that. please tell me im not the only one
If someone wrote a script for a side comic for this sort of thing, would you make it into a thing? :o
I feel like the human was modeled off of tom him self which would be very fitting considering that he would then be in possession of one of the things humans have always wanted but could never have, a dog you can actually talk to and chill with and they know exactly what your doing what your saying and can react in kind.
This is probably the most heart warming drawing I have seen yet Andy would love a comic like that
i would like to see and read this
Sounds like Florence Ambrose (from the Freefall comics, but you already drew her before, so you should know her.)
I was thinking the same thing. In fact, as you probably know, Florence is having a flashback to when she was a quadruped pup.
I feel like this is based on Mark and Chica
Aw man This has to be coloured! <3 Wonder if it'd be Mark and Chica :P
And Yes! It would make a good story Tom. Please do a “in the future of TwoKinds” side story where this happens. Granted it would spoil that the destiny of Mekkan includes peace, but I think it would be awesome. What’s her name by the way?
I think Tom wrote "Well... it was "Spot"..."
This was by far the best sketch of the stream. Ive got a follow up sketch idea called “Adopted Puppy Keidran Hijinks - The Revelation” where her “Parents” reveal, unsurprisingly, that she is adopted.
How horrifying.
Please create a side story about this!!!
kind of reminds me of the childhood of Florence Ambrose from Freefall webcomic. :P
Arrgh, came here to say just that. Though it fits nicely since they are running a flashback arc right now about Florence's childhood.
That must be Mark's dog, Chica as a keidran! X3
Yes. That would be startling and awesome! A talking dog! Not even a dog cause it's keidran! That would be a fantastic side story!
Do you read Rick Griffin's Housepets comic? Similar idea, except this is the norm, not the exception
Someone seems to have adopted a baby Keidran XD
While we're granting the dog human attributes can we add life span to the list? Otherwise I'm get Marley & Me flashbacks, but times a million.
One hell of a comic
I love how this turned out, I would totally read a comic based off of this situation
Me too.
Changes the whole level of thinking when it comes to the question of getting the 'pet' fixed. The note on the fridge will need to be changed from Dog Training to School Enrollment.
Love it!
Talking dog? Awesome.
more like "we have adopted a dog... BUT PLOT TWIST, it was a baby Keidran" XD
Am i the only one that thinks the guy looks somewhat like Tom?
Florence =)))
Come to think of it, this is basically what happened to the Ambrose family in Freefall.
Not really, they were selected by the government to raise the intelligent wolf and knew very whll what she would become.
Cute idea
Seems like a worst nightmare come to life. Think of how a pet gets treated even when loved. Living almost always bare naked on the floor, sleeping in dirty rags, walking barefooted on the dirt. Now think of realizing that is a thinking being that can express itself and you've basically treated it like a slaver of old, because pets can't normally be talked to or express themselves and thus even when loved one can't fight their nature. And everybody treats them like that sooo why should you not? Now think of this pet coming out as fully intelligent and thinking that you're his dad/mother. Soooooo... yeah. Seems like a nightmare.
Still... to me it would feel like a total nightmare to discover that what i was treating like a normal pet... would actually be an intelligent person. At best i would feel like a slaver. At worst... i don't even want to think about it.
Go for it, Two kinds can't go on forever, and this would be an awesome follow up.
So cute!!
Its stan
This has to be a thing!
Awww
Would read it
I read it
