It is interesting the constant use of deep, blood red with Vanity. Not only is she laying on crimson red pillows and sheets, but her claws and even eyes are almost stained the color red. It'll be interesting to see where he takes this character.

One of the masks in the top left reminds me of the Nina Tucker and Alexander Chimera from Fullmetal Alchemist.
Also, because I overanalyse everything, one other point is the implied significance of her ribbons (other than "cute design"), since even here she's never seen without them. I sense a story there, whether it's a means of anchoring anything left of her identity, or something more complex. Which would make the decision to use one as a bandage vs. say cutting some cloth from Keiren's cloak very interesting... and for some bonus symbolism it's literally gift wrapped, not tied in a functional knot...

Yes, absolutely terrifying. I'd pick fox-form Reni any day. Or Laura. Heck, I'd pick *Windstraw* over Vanity; the worst that could happen with her is you wake up with all your booze gone and rude pictures Magic-Markered on your face. With Vanity, one morning she will be WEARING your face.

Can't tell if actually a villain or just chaotic neutral.
To me comic reads as someone who probably WAS evil (you don't casually learn how to steal souls) who became less evil as she started losing her identity, moving substantially towards chaotic neutral/good. It would be an ironic punishment if Vanity's original self was pure evil but gradually had her own identity stolen a piece at a time because of magic she was too ignorant/arrogant to read the fine print on. hopefully it is just a mask to copy her sister's looks as i believe there's 2 versions of a mask: one which copies the looks of someone and the other which takes someone and makes them into a mask
