I can understand Sythe being interested in Maren now. After all, he was affianced to Flora before that ended. Oh, wait a minute, he and Flora never really liked each other. Did they? Well, maybe he'll like Maren-cat better.
They weren’t too into each other, Flora and Sythe that is because it was going to be an arranged marriage. In fact, the reason Sythe wears a loincloth is because Flora hid his nice clothes and he never found them again. However, a good “what if” sketch would be “what would Sythe and Flora’s children look like if they either didn’t meet Trace or either of them killed him?”
so... that's a cat... looks average, almost exactly like it has no differences from both the wolves or the tigers... odd.
Now we just need a human Sythe to even the odds a little.

Admittedly, the idea in my head was more "oh no she's super-hot", but this does fit the characters much more.
That’s fine. You aren’t the only one who has the hots for characters. I’ve pretty much deduced that Kat is my Waifu because of some of my prior comments, and the whole “bred to please” part isn’t actually the reason. She’s like me in a lot of ways. We’re naive about a lot, we say/do behaviorally questionable things because of the last point, and both of us currently don’t have a lover. Kind of sad really. A little confession. When I watched the opening for Sword Art Online II, I thought “wow, she’s hot!” when I saw Kirito’s avatar, and “What did I just think!!!” when I found out an episode later it was Kirito. The moral of the story. Don’t ogle a character until you are sure of who and what gender/gender identity, the person is. It may bite you in the ass.
