Charlie Chaplin did a scene where where he he was a servant cleaning a room in a manor. He was using a duster on a shade of a floor lamp. He turns to the right and sees a small, white statue of an n*ked woman on a tall pedestal. He's aghast at the sight, looks around, spots the lamp shade, and takes it off the lamp to cover the statue perfectly. Satisfied, he goes back to his dusting. Then stops, turns back slowly to the lamp shade, and lifts the bottom of it to peek at the statue.
I remember seeing that film. I was a youngster (around 10 or so) but I got the joke.
