Starting on page 980, he's the one that trapped Team B in the big invisible bubble on the orders of Clovis. Zen got them out with the use of a magic shackle (burning his leg real bad in the process), and wanting him to GTFO, Raine teleported him to... the other side of the world, basically.

In the next sketch, Carver teaches Raine how to surf. Off-screen, eh—Cotton, Sythe, and Carver’s West Basitin girlfriend are out spear fishing. Nibbly is relaxing in the sun.

He's a fox who worked for Clovis, and caused trouble for Raine, Sythe, and the rest of Team B before Raine teleported him away to the Western Basidian Isles.

I'm genuinly confused. Who is Carver? Were they a part of the group that attacked the residence? Or Edinmire? Or did they appear in some encounter even before that?
