This is a remake of a mini side comic I did in 2012.
I wanted to revisit it both as a fun experiment and to celebrate the 22nd anniversary of Twokinds, bringing some lesser-known pages from the past into my current style. Going back and digging up the old Na’Rella assets was incredibly nostalgic for me, and I hope it is for you. If you remember these pages from before, I hope you like the updated version (including 3 brand-new additional pages!) and if this is your first time seeing these at all, I hope you enjoy the experience!

Man, 22 years... I remember first finding Twokinds as a young teen, maybe a little over a year after it started. Crazy to think it's been that long. Glad to see you've still stuck with it and kept it alive for so many years, most webcomics I used to read back then were abandoned or, even worse, completely lost, and going back to re-read the ones that haven't vanished invokes a kind of sad nostalgia. In a way, Twokinds kinda feels like that one friend that's still stuck with you all the way from childhood, when all the others drifted away from you and lost touch. Here's hoping you keep it going for plenty more years to come, since even if the main storyline does fully end some day, I feel like the setting still has potential for so much more. Happy 22nd anniversary, Tom, thanks for all the laughs and feels, and the inspiration for writing some of my own stories and characters (even if some of the early attempts were so cringe I refuse to ever let them see the light of day, part of the learning process I guess, lol). Give your brother a hug from me sometime. I'm sure the both of you are super busy, but losing my dad this year (weirdly, just a few days before you posted Kathrin Encouragement on July 1st, which did actually make me feel a little better, thank you) served as a reminder to make time for the family you've still got left, so never take Mark for granted, okay?

Nasty for Natani to just steal from Trace. I would think that she was just picked up or just saved assassin back then, but the comic happened after basitin islands... But even after that adventure, seems like she still thinks of Flora and Trace as 'Stripes' and 'her human'. P.752. Natani was sent to kill Flora. Maybe indeed she doesn't really care for either of them. Even in 10th anniversary chapter between 16 and 17th, it was supposed to be bonding time between the main four, Natani speaks only to Keith. I'm not sure she even understood what others said to Keith since she's bad with human language.

What is the name of the font used for the phrases in this comic?
This font is called Legendary Legerdemain. Usually I use other fonts (Roboto in the main comic line) but I'm kind of experimenting with type faces right now just for fun. I thought this one looked pretty neat and tidy, and nicely legible on small screens. For translations and such though, I'm sure any comic font is fine.

It always great to see older comics remade in your current style. A great way to appreciate your artist improvement and rediscovering the charming original. And to be generous enough to draw all those extra pages and even moral lesson about respecting your body and not using volatile magic for the petty whims of your GF.

Eric probably mounts and frames many of his paintings around the ship, and likely covers them with a glass/magic covering, to prevent water exposure (ie someone coming belowdecks after getting splashed/rained-on)
