For people asking if Eric was ever like that with Kat, the only thing I found was page 310 when he mentioned that they fooled around a little out of curiosity when they were younger, but that’s about it.
Hmmm...I almost want to make a suggestion of what kind of fooling around they did...which is of is to show a 12 year old Eric gleefully holding a cat sized Young Kat in his arms awkwardly

Angel Eric had only the best intentions in mind
This is now official Keidran cultural lore. And while Kat is certainly a beautiful specimen,one has to wonder that since her body was bred to be an amalgamation of traits considered attractive to humans, if to more natural Keidran her body would look off...strangely devoid of standard traits like chest floof and having an "ethnically varied" face. A weird "uncanny valley" half breed mutant to a traditionalist Keidran as odd as that may seem
She probably looks very strange to other Keidran. With others like Flora, Natani, or Mike, you can tell that they’re a tiger, wolf, or fox immediately. Kat doesn’t 100% match any animal.

Maeve's line actually made me think about the various cultural beliefs Furry Races may have, which I've been having fun for a while now thinking up some to flesh out some worldbuilding i've been doing.
