I was more thinking of an episode of “I Dream Of Jeannie”, where Jeannie hears that Tony is facing an eye exam to keep his pilot’s license and gives him such good vision that soon everyone else in the episode is represented by skeletons.
Coincidentally, I was thinking of the movie “They Live”, directed by John Carpenter.

Reminds me of that episode of Amazing Stories (Yes, I'm old) where these guys caught a leprechaun who gave them three wishes. One guy wished to be able to have X-ray vision so he could see through women's clothing. But he ended up seeing all the way into their bones and organs instead.

Btw, 'fun fact about X-ray specs: despite being the holy grail of culture they can't exist. We have IR-cams 'big specs' (infrared) to see in darkness - they transform IR light emitted by all objects into visible light to see (amplifying it). But there is no x-ray light to transform into visible on earth - nothing emits it naturally but the Sun - but sun's X-ray is absorbed in outer layers of the atmosphere. So to see something in X-ray you need not only X-ray 'specs', but also a X-ray lamp. Moreover it must be behind the object you observe (x-ray can barely reflected back) - so no combining X-ray 'specs' and X-ray 'flashlight' in your hands. So... no, just specs can't work.

Uhh, I'd probably hide behind a lead plate and drink some iodine, Maddie. There's a reason x-rays aren't a continuous video feed. They could easily do that, but you'd get very sick very quickly.

I see the problem, the glasses were set to "bone" not "skin".
Even skin would be a bit much when looking at a Keidran. I doubt they look better without fur.
