Decided to draw a small glimpse into the Lynx Kingdom AU. Reed takes a brief return to human territory to update the humans on her progress.
I'm scheduling this to be published while I'm at AC. I should be on my way back home atm, so hopefully this will tied you over until I can get back and make more comics. Hope you like it!

Careful Kei...it is indeed a sacrifice she is making...a sacrifice to have to return to human lands after the blast she seems to be having with the Lynx Kingdom! Still, I enjoy seeing these cultural exchanges...and the genuinely jarring contrast in opinions and perspectives that occur between individuals, what with Kei having pity and horror at the idea of BEING a Keidran, and genuine bewilderment that Alice would continue to volunteer...while Alice, having discovered the unique existence these folk lead and assimilated into it, leads her double life... I know it's not canon but hot damn is it a cool AU.

Just opened Pandora's box, Tom. I would love to see the AU with the Explorers travelling to the Tiger kingdom, or the Snow Leopard homeland. There is a wealth of material to work with.
I love these Lynx updates. They make a great sidestory. I'd love to keep seeing this going.

Funny thing is, when you look at the comic and see how horrified she is at how the other keidran are being treated, and how she takes care of Maeve...I don't think this is just an AU anymore. I think this is potential future events.

Well, in human lands she has to shower alone—but I’m pretty sure the prince would gladly join her to comfort her, wether she’s in human or lynx form.
Some time later... Reed: As it turns out, I'm going to be a true Princess soon... Keiren: HOW?! Reed: Well... For starters, the Lynx prince proposed to me so elaborately that if I were to reject it, it would've compromised all my efforts on the mission, as no normal Keidran would say "no" to it. Keiren: Yaahh! This'll complicate things so much! At least you'll be so close to the royal family to observe their affairs, no questions asked. Reed: Oh that's not all. Keiren: What? Reed: As it turns out, I'm carrying the Prince's kittens. . . Keiren: . . . Reed: As in "pregnant". . .
That's what I would call a happy ending ...
