Pretty sure he proposed with some Lynn style documents...
Lynn prepared the document for him ;)
Gey?((
There is no LGBTQ+ without the Basitins!
It look like they having fun
Alariclives suggestion.. this is peak as always
We'll reach the top of gay Everest with the next suggestion I have I in mind for these two
A very beautiful scene, now all that's missing is the wedding.
Coming soon.... ;)
How have I gone this long thinking they were brothers? I guess it has been several years since I read that part of the comic.
It might be the "so many Keiths" thing. Still I can imagine you seeing the proposal thinking that and going "WAIT, WHAT?!" haha
Form 1132-B, Intent to establish a union. As Adelaide explained to Natani. ^.^
I think Alaric has had it on him for a while, but even a Master General must find enough courage before he can propose to the love of his life :)
Honestly, I'm just chuckling at the paperwork he had to fill out. Damn bureaucrats.... Oh, and congratulations, AlaricLives87. It's about time this one came about. I've been voting for it ever since I saw it crop up. Hell of a way to finish off the month!
Thank you so much!! I've appreciated your support throughout the....*checks sketches linked*...YEARS! It means so much to me!
The boooooys :) :) :) :)
Alaric: Are you even paying attention to me? Keith: Fireworks are pretty! Alaric: ......
Was seeing this suggestion for god knows how long. Curious — did this suggestion win a vote, or was it Tom’s own choice?
I don't think anyone was under any illusion about what the other sketches were meant to represent, but I'm still SCREAMING that it's official. I'm screaming even louder that we will inevitably get a follow up with the wedding.
It will probably be suggested...
A perfect way to end pride month.
I couldn't believe it, either, when it dropped! You cannot convince me that it wasn't intentional and I'm all the happier for it!
🏳🌈
Happy Pride!
Makes perfect sense in Basitin society. If you're enough of a badass, you can rewrite the laws.
Right? In story, the fact that Alaric's love for Keith and the injustice that befell the latter was enough for him to quickly rise to the very top of the echelons of the Eastern military made him the best, second only to Adelaide! In this AU, even if anyone still had a problem with their engagement, Alaric may throw some snark their way, but the threat of his smarts coupled with his sword would make most back down immediately o.O
So gorgeous and charming!
It is finally done! After a long while of being suggested.
Over a year! I've been suggesting this since the beginning of Pride 2024! It was a very nice full circle moment that I still cannot believe dropped today :)
Alaric is gay 100% ngl fr for me :v
We all knew that XD
It was amazing moment... broken by several old-time folks who are shouting that it's against every social law. But no one dare to go against them. After all, none of them are capable to challenge the Master General or Ambassador General. To stop the raging mob, Alaric and Keith ask the King for her blessing. Controversial, it was possible to legalize their relationship. Three weeks of loud discussions and arguments in the Royal Court... the decision has been made. Nickolai Alaric and Keith Keiser are the first legal homosexual couple, backed by the law and the King. The pair celebrated this massive victory with a kiss, right here, right now. And that was only the beginning...
That was beautiful! Also, AU to be continued.... ;)
I'm happy for them.
Don't know what just happened
They're engaged <3
He got the proper form the last day of pride month XD
Right?
Oh my God i love this
Just in time for pride month! One of the best sketches this month, easily.
I'm not sour grapes about the color stream, either, and can only congratulate those who won, like I always do. Honestly, having this drop on the last day of Pride feels as big a win as any for me personally
AWESOME! Made it in just in time for Pride Month. XD
A part of me wished for it to drop today, even though the Kat Motivation sketch came before it...I think Tom knew what he was doing here, and for that, I am grateful <3
🥲 it is very Beautiful.
Well, that certainly confirms some things. Very cute.
Can someone explain that form 1132-B?
Basitins like their legality and rules. Forms included.
Sweet home alabama
Alaric is like the handsome squidward of basitin race...so how long is his dong?
Maddie: lewd!!!!
We need Keith in a wedding dress, and Natani's reaction to these news xD
Nickolai: "Keith, would you make me the second-happiest Basitin on the island and marry me?" Keith: "Why only the second?" Nickolai: "Because if you say yes, I plan to spend my life making sure you're the first."
That was incredibly romantic and I fangirl thinking about them saying this to each other
This is so sweet and wholesome, perfect way to end pride month! :) Great suggestions Kapłan and Motor!
The form at Alaric’s side is hilarious
"Let's get banished together" 🥀😭
🤣🤣
THE BOIS!
Wait I thought they were brothers 😭
Nope! They are unrelated and were childhood friends. Alaric had feelings for Keith and this AU shows how that might have played out had he lived
Love the detail of the official form xD
It wouldn't be a proposal if they weren't dorks about it! Tom knows his world and characters, and that was a most appropriate touch!
On the last day of Pride, too?!! This took over a year and was worth it!!! Thank you, Tom, for a marvelous sketch, and thank you everyone for the support!!! <3
Glad you got your sketch
Thank god it’s an au other our favorite wolf would be kicking the door down right now
As much as I obviously ship Keith and Alaric, Keith x Nat are the best gay couple
So this was if Alaric lived and Natani wasn't there.. was Keith just always gay or am I missing something?
You're missing Laura
Best Bros
