I’m curious is modern AU and the backstage AU connected? Because in the Backstage world Trace is what Laura. But here she appears to be on an outing with flora.
Modern AU and Backstage AU are different AUs that both happen to look like “now.” Modern: the comic’s people are themselves, dark plot left at the door. Adira is Adira (who works in a shop). Trace is with Flora. Clovis is an internet troll, not a power-seeking criminal. Backstage: the comic is a TV show. “Adira” is the actress who plays Adira (and Vanity-as-Adira, and Keiren-as-Adira). Pairings can differ, Trace/Laura on that set. Sets, scripts, extra jobs. Short: Modern Adira is Adira. Backstage “Adira” is not.
If Magpie is present on this side of the riftwall, it indicates that the spell between the riftwall taverns has been restored.
COLOR PLEASE 🙏
It look like they having fun
If it's the cast, then where is Trace's actor's girlfriend?
Mmm, yes; Natani just chilling, enjoying their partner's pain at competitive games. As a proper partner would~
I bet that Keith spend whole Eastern Basitin Treasury on that game out of spite
yo, this webcomic might turn into a potential manga with how trace looks now
i love this as i love how much time they spend together and how much fun they seem to have together
With all the characters, details and the considerable time it will take to ink and color this might require its own color stream session. Tom > "Sorry people, but with this selected for coloring it used up the entire coloring budget for this month."
It looks like Keith may have been "suckered" at the milk bottle throw :)
A sucker born every minute...
So cute
So many little details in one sketch. The spying bird with the candy, Reni flying in the background, a prowling cat Nora and Flora's subtleseed crystal on display which doesn't happen often. I'd love to see this one in the colour votes.
Absolutely, this would look magnificent in color.
man likes his salted bread
Trace Eats a Pretzel
It’s amusing to see that the German word Brezel has been adopted into English as pretzel—especially since the letter B so perfectly reflects the shape of the treat. 😎
It's great seeing Sam and Colin getting sketched in a fairground scene (A failed suggestion from 2021), along with many of these others. An unexpected but very pleasant surprise. This is a fun exercise in finding and identifying everyone.
Thank you Tom for doing this, I am very happy about this 💕
You gave a great idea there, this might become my new scrren background if it gets colored.
Na, nimm da a Brezn und loss da’s schmecka.
Jawoll!
Such a lovely drawing! Really wish I could go to a festival or even a carnival.
The whole party is here! (Except Kat) Cool to see some face we haven't seen in a while. I will take 1 million Nibbly plushes.
TINY PERSON FROM A CRANE. P.S. BIRD CANDY
I think that tiny person is Red…?
So many details! So many characters! And Flora looks so happy and excited! I love it!
So many fine people celebrating!
Angy Keef and one of the Seer daughters ravens stealing candy for her. Hilarious and adorable!
I am very concerned about that person getting picked up by a claw in the background😱
I think it's a Roller Coaster Tycoon reference. Love it
I'm incredibly chuffed to see the Rollercoaster Tycoon reference, but hell if I don't feel old seeing that hardly anyone else in the comments knows where it's from. RCT brought me a lot of joy as a kid.
Same! :)
DETAILSSSSSSSSSSS
You can see sam and colin in the background
I see Lynn! Man..I miss that limp eared king
So much fun!
Dang, as far as I can tell, this might be the most characters from the comic in one sketch request.
Hmm what a beutiful and great moent of twokinds char in he park fr :)
Dang it, Clovis is not in here causing trouble.
I love how Keiths head is on fire from anger.
Fr me to XD
Remember all carnival games are rigged, and as someone nicknamed Keith a "Femboisitin" he ain't scoring anything with em arms
I know it's a normal thing for sketches, but Trace holding a GLOWING container of cheez is just so fitting for carnival food.
Like most carnivals this is sensory (and detail) overload! I love it!
This is great work
Flora wearing clothes?! What is this blasphemy? ;)
Requirement for entrance. This is a family friendly festival for all ages.
Wholesome art, love how you drew everyone and the background!
Awesome!!!
Red? Is that him in the lower left corner waaay off in the distance?
yeah XD
Flora is going to drag Trace to the highest spot she can find
Top of the Ferris wheel?
this thing is chock full of characters! great job tom
Keith: THIS GAME IS RIGGED!!! Magpie: So. Keith: >:( Magpie: :) Natani: (laughs)
I love the little bits and bobs in the background, like the foating crane game in the bottom left. Or Kitty Nora keeping an eye on things 😼
I just noticed, Nora is keeping an eye on Maddie, Maeve and Karen!
Doesn't Keith know those games are rigged?
No! That would go against Basitin honor!
Who is framed in the gap between Flora's tail and Chase's back? Looks like a canine and the floppy ear suggests Collin
The canine is Colin and the girl is Sam.
Wait a minute, Raine is missing!
I wonder...
ROBERTO on screen!
A lot of detail in this, even though its just a sketch. It looks amazing!
Is that Colin in the background? XD So many characters smushed in here! Definitely captures the carnival/festival/fair feel! Well done, Tom!
Yeah - Colin and Sam at a carnival was a failed sketch idea vote from about four years ago… so I suppose Tom decided to slip them into this fair!
Reni in the distance!
This looks great, Tom. Awesome job. 👍
Literally everyone in the Gallery is here!
…no Raine though… That I can see anyway…
That poor kid in the background, didn't know you need a buddy system to avoid Driftbloom
Magpie!
Looks like so much fun and something tells me Magpie and Natani are conning Keith out of money lol
I think Natani is just enjoying the show...
