Sometimes a kitten and a dragon weigh the same when force you to call in sick for work.
And Lt. Reed, don't worry. If you slept on your side Maeve would just sleep on your arm. (I've got cats and I know how they can be.) Also, cats only sleep on humans they trust and feel safe around.

I’m 80% sure that Maeve and Adira share a bed. Most feline cultures seem to use communal sleeping in this world.
That could very well be true, especially since the tigers appear to be nomadic and families would likely share a tent. Earlier sketches of Maeve and Adira even show them sharing a bed.

It’s incredibly sweet to see how much Maeve trusts Alice! Given how the story is unfolding, that scene could easily become canon in the next panel of the comic. But then I’m really worried about Adira’s fate…
I worry about Adira as well. At least Maeve has someone to look after her. Just too precious!
Maeve is just the most precious kid in the world, isn't she? I am so glad that Reed decided to rescue her from the orphanage, she is too adorable to be subjected to that.

I think it is. Maeve was never going to sleep on her couch. She took the direct approach instead of sneaking upstairs later.
Is anyone else thinking of the start of Lady and the Tramp, where Jim Dear agrees to have puppy Lady on the bed for ‘one night’ and then it jumps to a fully grown Lady still sleeping on the bed…?

I swear... it was someone else who just went "Awwww"... Not me... I didn't start purring while looking at this. Maeve is just ADORABLE. If I was in that world, I would try to marry her mother, cause she's a sweetheart AND hot, but because I could give the Kitten Maeve lots and lots of behind the ear scritches.
That'd be a nice way to wake up. Give her some gentle headpats.

I have an orange Manx cat named Fang, who likes to sleep on me like that. She doesn't like to move or be moved. However, I'm an old fart who has to get up a couple or 3 times a night to pee, and she has learned to move voluntarily (and fairly quickly) if I tell her "Lemme up, gotta pee!", rather than getting tossed from the bed.
