So, between this, the voting incentive, and the Shower sketch, and... actually a lot of the sketches come to think of it, I'm starting to develop a headcanon where Mike has just accepted his gender flipping as a part of his identity now and so is beginning to form a more intimate relationship with Evals; maybe not full on "romance", but something deeper than their previous camaraderie. Which makes sense to me given their past lives enslaved on Eric's ship, with basically no one in their lives they could rely on except each other. The foundation for such a relationship was already there, the physical attraction and likely muddling of hormones just adds an extra spice.
