Could work like euchre, their natural form is keidran, had an offspring as a human with a human, but still came out keidran, and the necklace changes their form entirely… but still keeps them human…
Between this and the recent comics, I think something like this could actually happen in the main story. She's definitely shown she really sees Keidran in a better light than some of her fellow guards.
