Well, they are similar to a degree as they can't metabolize alcohol the same way as humans do. Which is why they need more Keidran-safe [in IRL would be considered "Kid-safe" in the historic context] alcohol. Basitins, the other Furry folk, is the other extreme. Their species are resistant to the point of near-immunity of poisons and magic that they can drink something more akin to industrial strength alcohol and be fine to a degree.
That crash is gonna feel like a fully loaded 40 ton semi-truck and trailer smacked a thick concrete wall at 85 MPH. If Mike was smart, he'd prep the aspirin and a HUGE glass of water.

The Caffeine crash is going to make her feel like she is dying. If I had the focus and a better schedule, I would read more of your comics so I can keep up, and maybe pay for a subscription, but knowing my limitations, I probably won't be able to contribute any good ideas. Judging by my failing memory at 25, but to be positive about this, "Who knows, maybe I am wrong about that?"
