Today’s a pretty great day I arrived on the island kicked the crap out of a pirate Had a few drinks.
Jenny: "I warn you basitin, I fight dirty!" Reis: "Oh good, then there's no need for all this foreplay" *Draws magic laser pistol and Indiana Jones-es the fight*

So now the Basitin with a gun has a name. Cool! I wonder just how... 'dirty'... Captain Jenny's gonna fight.
I do love how Jenny fights like she's on a ship, expecting to be off balance. Falling into her opponent; if Reis pushes back she's on balance again; if she doesn't then Jenny is leaning into her to push her down.
She might also just be showing off. But I like how you referenced real life ship tactics that Is awesome.

As a couple others have also pointed out: No ankle coverings! *gasp!* So scandalous, so lewd! 🙀 Maybe after years of service aboard a skyship, eventually rising to become captain, Reis stopped caring as much for Basitin modesty? Or maybe she's from one of the more "liberal" Basitin nations? Either way, a fantastic sketch! I love the contrast between Jenny's carefree and casual style, vs Reis stoic and disciplined style. I hope to see it colored, and hope to see more of these two! 😁

Back in my USAF days, I was a State level fencer with sabre and epee. My being left handed DID throw off quite a few of my opponents.
This leads to a round of Insult Swordfighting. "I hope you have a boat ready for a quick escape!" "Why, do you need to borrow one?"

Reis had better be careful. She's clearly capable with a sword, but Jenny's off her snoot on a boot-ful of Basitin Rum so her unpredictability and charisma stats are boosted by 10 points each. This one came out completely different from how I'd originally pictured it before suggesting, but that doesn't mean I like this outcome any less. It's funny how laid-back Jenny's basically a foil of stern, no nonsense Reis. I do rather like the backdrop used here, and the outfits are choice stuff. Reis' flowing cape in particular. Thanks for the pick, Tom.

Hey, is there something going wrong with the Twokinds website? It keeps telling me that it’s not secure and might be trying to impersonate the real Twokinds.
The site was being migrated to a new server but page certificates weren't working properly hence the errors.
