#3 Color vote from May: Captain Reis, a gunslinging airship captain based on very early Basitin concept art, back when I was tinkering with the idea of making the Basitins more of a magitech race, to make up for their lack of magic users. There's something majestic about a simple bodysuit
Now, the question I have is what does she use for ankle coverings. Is it a fully enclosed shoe or boot? Wraps? Or is this one more dignified and uses a set of spats like King Adelaide? It certainly isn't nothing at all.
Edit: After seeing the Captain vs. Captain portrait, I am shocked -- SHOCKED -- to see that Captain Reis has not a whit of shame.

the magictech stuff might have explained how the basitin have survived on their island while magic users are all over the main contintinent. i wonder what that explination is now.

while the last one looked like a proper flintlock pistol, this model seems to really lean into the magi-tech feel, with the strange glow at the base, and what looks like potions on her waist. i could absolutely see those vials as being recharges for the gun with different properties.

I was kind of hoping that would be what the western basitins would be before we got the official version.

Always interesting to see a slice of what could have been. I imagine we might see a few suggestions involving her soon. To really see her in action. Maybe have her aiming her magi-pistol at proto-Flora in a first encounter

They have fur. As long as they are high enough, they don't have to worry about water soaking through.
