Roadmap Update: 30Aug2026

Hi All :)

Apologies I've been a bit behind on the roadmap things. Had to make sure of a good amount of things before I gave definitive answers. As it stands now, I'd say the project is pretty healthy :D

- There is good traction across the communities
- All of the early funding seems like it may cover the art so much so that I have a surprise planned for you all hehehe....
- Most if not all of the major systems are done!!

In regard to the systems, I just want to explain my development approach (which I will never do again xD ). I first wanted to make sure the core systems were in place. Things like the gloryhole stage, Class system, mutations, etc. so that we can reuse them more efficiently. However, I realized that it made us stay a bit too long in Chapter 1. Was this the worst approach? I have no idea lolol. But I feel like it could have been done better.

So with that being said, I thank you all from the bottom of my heart and HOPE TO GOD that the development of chapters 2 & 3 will be much smoother now as it is only a matter of reusing what we have!!! With some spicy adjustments of course ;D

Below is an infographic of what's to come. Always subject to change of course but the broad strokes are definitely captured (with the exception of an amazing surprise...).

Again, I am hoping we can move a bit faster now that the systems are in place, and that summer is just about done! Note to self, summer is probably the worst time to get anything done due to vacation and day job deadlines xD

Nevertheless, I am happy with the state of the game and even more happier with how supportive you guys have been. As each milestone is achieved, the dream of being able to do this full time and make games 24/7 is more realized :)

Will have more specific updates of what's to come in the next milestone and when we can expect the latest release.
